1. Who we are
Wittedly is operated by Lysara Productions. We make daily word and logic puzzle games at words.wittedly.com and logic.wittedly.com. Contact us at privacy@wittedly.com.
2. Information we collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a display name you choose.
Game data. We store your puzzle completion records, scores, streaks, and hints used. This data is tied to your account and used to power your profile and leaderboards.
Payment information. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full credit card number. We store your Stripe customer ID to manage your subscription.
Usage data. We collect basic analytics (pages visited, game sessions started) to improve the product. We do not sell this data to advertisers.
3. How we use your information
- To provide and improve our puzzle games
- To display leaderboards and your personal statistics
- To send streak reminder emails (you can unsubscribe at any time)
- To process subscription payments via Stripe
- To respond to support requests
4. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Supabase — our database and authentication provider (EU/US data centers)
- Stripe — payment processing
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Sentry — error monitoring (no PII in error reports)
5. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Email privacy@wittedly.com with your request. We will respond within 30 days. You may also delete your account directly from the Settings page, which permanently removes all your personal data within 24 hours.
6. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Anonymized aggregate statistics (total game plays, completion rates) are retained indefinitely for product improvement. Upon account deletion, all personal data is removed within 24 hours.
7. Cookies
We use a single authentication cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
8. Changes to this policy
We will notify active subscribers by email before making material changes to this policy. The updated date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
